MCI to conduct UG National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (MBBS NEET) on 13 May 2012
The Medical Council of India (MCI) on 4 November 2011 finalized the syllabus for admission to MBBS courses across the country and has fixed 13 May 2012 for All India Common Entrance Test. The exam will be held for admission to undergraduate courses in 335 medical colleges of the country.

The Medical Council of India (MCI) recommends the following syllabus for National
Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to MBBS courses across the country (NEETUG)

COBSE. This is to establish a uniformity across the country keeping in view the
relevance of different areas in medical education.
